At Ambiance Transportation, we understand the importance of safety.
This is why our drivers are our most important asset.
Our safety program starts before our drivers are hired. All drivers are subject to:
- - A thorough interview process
- - Background checks conducted by independent services
- - Drug testing by accredited independent labs
Once hired, at a minimum, all drivers are trained on:
- - Proper loading and unloading of passengers
- - Operating the hydraulic lift
- - Applying the wheelchair brake
- - Securely tying down the wheel chairs
- - Map reading and knowledge of the service area
- - CPR & First Aid training & certification by an accredited independent company
- - Random drug screens over the course of their employment
